He vowed at the final press conference to send the 42-year-old Hopkins back to the retirement home. Wright will practically move up two weight classes to face Hopkins at a catch-weight of 170-pounds. Actually the Tito fights helped me pick my winner in this one.
Wink and Hopkins are pretty even. Neither is BLAZING fast, but the slight edge goes to Wright. Hopkins is taller, I believe has the longer reach. Both have had long roads to get to the top. Both have a lot of fights, so age doesn't really matter much. Both have had ROUGHLY the same kinda fights. Meaning damage is about the same, and both have GREAT defenses. Both are in good shape. Then, there's only two more things to weight in on. Hopkins is the bigger guy. A good big guy beats a good little guy atleast 8 out opf 10 times. On top of that.....
Hopkins knocks out a prime Tito, giving him his first loss.
Wright doesn't come close to hurting a coming-out-of-retirement-second-fight-back Trinidad. So Hopkins has the power edge too.
I think Hopkins wins.Comment
