Did Hatton really say Mayweather had to fight him at 140????

His last fight was two weight divisions above that. You're being ridiculous if you expect Mayweather to come down to fight him. Whether he can make it is irrelevant. Roy Jones made 175 after a heavyweight fight. Should he have? Hell no.

Besides, Hatton turned down a 140 fight with Mayweather this time two years ago, so save the excuses for the British fans who will use it to their advantage.

Yes it is two weight divisions removed but unlike a regular 154 pound fighter Mayweather walks around at 150. To think that he has to lose 10 pounds in six months is MORE than feasible. Furthermore Hatton probably will have to lose MORE weight for the fight anyways. I like Mayweather and I think his prime weight is 140 because he has more pop and more speed. He would crush Hatton either way imo so why give anybody an excuse to hate on the victory. Make it a tiny ring and let it be at Hatton's weight and I still guarantee Mayweather whoops him good.

Thats why I want the fight to happen at 140, the hatton fans wont make accuses after floyd beats him, does hatton really expect floyd to move down after he,s been fighting at 147 for awile know, hattons been the one calling out floyd so he should be the moving up in weight, all the big fights are at 147.

I've googled "Hatton Mayweather" just recently, and I got several sources complaining about Hatton demanding the fight happen at 140 according to Hatton's father???? Is that right? That is horse**** if true. Somebody please confirm. I've seen articles about it and blogs complaining about it. Apparently it was released on the 12th when I was wasted.

Mayweather was way out his comfort zone when fighting at light-middleweight so to make it sound like a big problem to fight at 140 is simply ridiculous.

Ellerbe says the fight will happen at 147, floyd is the champ, he would go down to 140 to fight hatton, he doesnt need him.

If it was true, we know what it is.

Because ray hatton admitted the fight would only happen in the US, yet hobson offered mayweather the fight in the Uk, in effect knowing it would be rejected.

Ellerbe says the fight would happen at 147, so if they say they cant fight at 147, then again........we know what that means.

But again, squeal piggy says he has proof its untrue and that they will fight mayweather whatever the weight.

Hatton weighs about 170 pounds outside the ring, i dunno why he wants to fight at 140, i think moving to 147 would suit him and he wouldnt have to boil down to make 140, it makes sense for him, he has less weight to lose.
