  • Donaire Names his Left Hook "Pinoy Noir"

SAN LEANDRO, CALIF. - Newly-minted IBF/IBO flyweight champion NONITO "THE FILIPINO FLASH" DONAIRE is still celebrating the biggest victory of his career, six days after uncorking a vintage left hook that knocked out the previously undefeated and seemingly invincible defending champion Vic Darchinyan at 1:38 of round five. The world title fight was broadcast nationally on SHOWTIME. [details]

Very witty. It was only a matter of time until Vic got caught. Hopefully he'll work on his Defense and come back a better fighter.

I don't know what Noir is.

I guess it has something to do with wine. Not a wine drinker.

I'm glad Vic got KO'd. Donaire wasnt taken seriously and what do you know...Vic comes in overconfident with no respect for Nonito. That was one of the most textbook counterleft hooks I have seen in a long time.

                  I think it's a cologne thing.
