Winky Wright: Same Result In November

The date will November 20th, 2004, the fight will be rematch between Shane Mosley and Ronald "Winky" Wright. This is a win or die fight for Shane Mosley. If Shane loses again to Winky Wright, his status as a top contender could be over. Shane even dumped his trainer/father Jack Mosley and hired Joe Goosen. Shane has not looked good in many years, his last 5 fights have been disasters in one form or another. In his last 5 fights, he lost back to back to Vernon Forrest, got a no-contest against Raul Marquez, defeated Oscar De La Hoya in very disputed fashion and got dominated by Winky Wright. Winky Wright is already looking ahead to big money fights at 160 pounds with Bernard Hopkins and Felix Trinidad. Most experts and most fans do not give Shane any shot to beat Wright and most think that Wright will have an even easier time beating Mosley.

Mosley will come prepared and ready to fight. Winky is just a better fighter at this weight. Ever since Shane moved up he seems a lot less busy in the ring. His father has seen it also. I dont know if he needs to conserve energy or what, but If Shane can throw more punches in this fight than that of his previous fights, it may be interesting. Of course thats a pretty tall order against a fighter like Winky.
