I think he can, it all depends if he has come to fight or for the pay-check. In Oscars case, it looked like both Oscar and Floyd fought only for the money and not for the love of the sport. I didn't like the oscar/floyd fight

By the way Tzyu was terrible in their fight, he just looked appaling, saw bits of it on 'frank warrens best of boxing', couldnt bare to watch, tzyu was just shot to peices imo, not that i ever rated him that highly anyways.
