Palle Hopes For Calzaghe-Kessler Clash on 9/22

AMI Production have moved their big show in Marseille one day forward and it will now go ahead on June 29 instead of June 30. Headlining the show is WBA and EBU female jr welterweight champ Ann Sophie Mathis who again takes on Miriam Lamare. Those who saw the first fight say it was a war from the first bell with Mathis wearing down Lamare. In the co-headliner WBA bantamweight ruler Wladimir Sidorenko face Jerome Arnould. Also on the bill are welter Frederik Klose and middleweight Arsen Khachatrian. Check by the way out amiprod.com (in French only) - the new website from AMI. [details]

Hopkins isn't exactly smaller. Wright would certainly be too small for Calzaghe.

calzaghe should fight kessler and he should fight hopkins. maybe winky but i think that size will be somewhat of a factor with winky, so it makes me kind of lean away from that fight a bit.

the thing is this, calzaghe pursuing taylor and wanting the taylor fight is like calzaghe pushing for the manfredo fight. taylor is better than manfredo, but he is still inexperienced, and i honestly think that calzaghe would pummel taylor in a vicious beating, especially after watching taylors last three fights. calzaghe would eat him up, and calzaghe knows that too. i don't think that fight would be competitive at all.

all in all i think time line wise kessler in september would be good, it actually fits so both can get proper training in.................and i think it would be one hell of a fight...........
