  • Who do you want to see Floyd fight next? (assuming he doesnt retire)

I want to see Floyd fight Mosley next. I think Mosley has as much, if not, then even quicker hands than Floyd and he has just about the same reflexes and agility as Floyd, but even more power. I think at this point Floyd would have to fight Mosley and beat him to solidify his "legacy." I still think ODLH beat Floyd (i dont give a f**k what you think) and the only way I'll ever give gayweather any respect is if he were to beat Mosley. Who do you want to see him fight next?

Mosley definately. But Floyd is all about the payday and for some reason he thinks fighting Mosley wouldn't bring any money. Granted it wouldn't bring the attention that De la Hoya did but it'd be a great fight that would be great for boxing fans and a win over Mosley would further cement Floyd's status.

Exactly. I know the DLH rematch makes more sense dollar wise for Floyd, but a Mosely fight would make more sense legacy wise. A win over Mosely would get him closer to that self proclaimed best of all time.

Sadly I think a rematch with Oscar is on the way. Probably this Fall or somewhere around there. The way they talked on HBO's replay really hinted at it. Oscar saying he's "gotta think about it" and Floyd promising to stand "toe-to-toe next time".

He def. won't move up so no Winky or Taylor
He won't move below 140, so no Pac
He won't fight an unknown, so no Williams or Margarito
That leaves Mosley, Hatton, DLH and Cotto

            He already beat DLH
Cotto has a tough fight ahead of him, so we'll see how that goes.
Mosley and Hatton are the only two choices really. I'd rather he fight Hatton to beat the legit 140 champ (something he hasn't done) to solidify his claim of beating the best in each division. If he beats Mosley people will only knock it as Shane being "past his prime".

I kind of agree. What can I say though, I want to see him fight Mosley. It would be a great fight, and who cares if people go on about Shane being past it afterwards. I can deal with that in exchange for a sitting on the edge of my seat knuckle biter fight.

Mosley it is. He is the one most capable today to give Floyd that 1.
