Could Wilfredo Benitez beat Tito Trinidad? I think so.

I thought he spoke english fine...wasnt he born and raised till 8 years old in NY? And I've never head he was ******ed; he has dementia now, yes. But I've seen interviews with him and there was nothing ******ed about him. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, some of the interviews I saw with him were in English. I have to double check some of my fight dvds to confirm.

I have read he was and Asian Sensation said that it was true he was midly ******ed. He never spoke English to my recollection. I know he had to turn down that contract because of the language barrier.

Anyway if you can't comprehend that Trinidad was not a great fighter than you are not a fan of boxing. By the way what makes RJ so great. He fought bums with the exception of a close fight he got with Bhop and the win over Toney. Then he met Tarver and was the victim of one of the most brutal KO's in boxing

I think you are right about the Language thing, though I have heard the midly ******ed thing numerous times. It is doubtful he never knew English living in New York for most of his young life. Not impossible, but not very likely to have been the case.

Yeah, I gotta check my dvds this weekend and update you if he did or not. The mental disability is something new. I mean, I know he has it now, but never knew about it in his fighting days.

By the way Im just makin a point because if you consider Trinidad's accomplishments "overrated" but you praise RJJ how can you not be bias? Trinidad has fought everyone and anyone the same can't be said about your boy. You should ask yourself who did Trinidad ever avoid fighting and who did Roy ever avoid..............that is all

Ok you dont like overrated guys but your avatar displays one of the most overrated boxers in the history of boxing. And RJJ fought a completely different BHOP than Tito, not to mention Tito was a prime WW not Middle.

Mosley was not a welterweight during that time. No he didnt fight Whitaker 'before being in and out of coke' but who's fault was that? I'll give you Quartey, but someone earlier posted that Quartey priced himself out of those fights, so I'll defer to that reasoning.

Mosley was a lightweight when tito was fighting at 147. By the time tito lost to b-hop, mosley was busy getting his ass kicked by vernon forrest.
