I'm a Klitschko fan, but I think Peter deserves the shot. So hopefully Peter and Big Klit will meet up before the end of the year. That would be some good stuff.

I think this is good all round, peter get his shoot first that he earned, and vitali will get a tune up fight before fighting the winner.

Donts count out Maskaev yet. "IF" he fights smart he could pull out A UD agaisnts the Sam "Back of the head puncher" Peter. I'm glad this fight will happen, because I cant stand all the crying the Duva's do. These *******'s will do anything to have any exposure.

Yeah i agree, Maskaev could even be seen as a tuneup of sorts for peter before klitschko (not to say maskaev is a cakewalk, but klitschko surely should be the stiffer test)

At last, boxing makes a decision that will help the sport, after years of destroying its own fan base.

LOL arent we a tad bit cynical today? This is great for boxing. More fights and more fights before the end of the year. Plic vitali get to face the best man either way. OOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

VITALI's next opponenet is probably going to be with someone like who Wlad fought after he came back from the Lamon Brewster debacle.

Vitali kind of ****ed this all up. After all of this mess he decides that he won't be ready. He should of just stepped aside right away and Maskaev vs. Peter would be around the corner. Now we may have to wait till August. Hopefully Maskaev vs. Peter is held on the June 2nd date in Moscow instead of pushing it back. I hate to get pissed at Vitali but this is kind of like the Rahman situation, postponing fights again. I don't know what to think of Vitali's comeback now. He must really be unsure of himself now for some reason...

Vitali postponed the date because fritz sidunek is currently hospitalized and won't make it out in time for a full training camp.
