i think thats the better choice for gerry... 122 lbs is to tough for his size.. he would have a big chance of figthing at 115 to 118 lbs...

This is amazing.
A guy comes out and closes his eyes doing a straight punching version of a horizontal windmill......and a guy with flashes of boxing grace simply 1 and done picks him off a few times per round....doing not nearly enough to win the rounds becomes a pop culture superstar in the process.
Now we read his wife is "calling the shots". The Penalosas. LOL.

many boxing journalist had penalosa winning and a few had it for de leon by a close margin.
Throwing many punches doesnt win fights. you have to land a few to win.
ponce deleon landed 0 meaningfull shot the entire fight. If you claim that he landed some body shots out of 1400 punches thrown then please give a reason why ponce is backing up in the latter rounds? he landed in gloves, air and shoulders but mostly air.
'you threw punches you win the round, you win all 12 if you threw punches every round.'

i thought you have improved. watch the fight if you havent. i know u havent watch it. if u did. pls tell us at what time and which round did ponce landed anything worth seeing in slow mo.
