After a 23 month absence from the ring, "Marvelous" Tarvis Simms returned to the ring Saturday night, looking impressive en route to a unanimous eight round decision over tough Daniel "Danny Zee" Stanisavljevic of Los Angeles. The two middleweights faced off in an entertaining and crowd-pleasing main event at the packed Riveredge Hotel in Reading, PA. Though Stanisavljevic proved to be a formidable and game opponent, Simms overpowered him with his speed and ring experience. Simms improved his record to 21-0-1 (11 KOs). [details]
