and Kaz Fujita is scheduled to headline PRIDE 34 in Japan. Are they truley that low on headliners?

Seriously though the guys that run PRIDE USA are complete and total ****ing morons. Im not shocked there are problems with the next show being cancelled

Kamikaze seems like a fitting name for PRIDE 34.

It'll be a sad day if Pride goes under.

If PRIDE goes under, I wonder if an Elite XC sees it as an opportunity to try to get bigger, or if UFC becomes more or less the only "big" organization out there...

I'm thinking another japanese org, like K-1 heroes may step up to fill the void somewhat. I'm sure it'd be good for UFC but I dont think UFC is on the same level.

It is because they had a poor marketing startegy. Their marketing stategy was to pull in tickets, more or less. They thought they can make a good ammount of money by pulling in the 15,000+ people they expect.

I don't know how well PPV does, but most people had no idea what Pride FC is. They needed to reach the Boxing fans, and the casual mma fans. Showing re-runs on Fox Sports will not do it.

If they really wanted to pull a good stunt they should have aired some of the best Pride Cards of all time on PPV for free, or at a very reduced price to cover ppv fee's.
