The Cotta/Urkal and Taylor/Ouma fights were one sided, open scoring didn't matter. They were pretty easy to score, I think it would work great if it was used in a close fight.

2)Or, in the 8th round, the annoucer says that Mayweather is leading 7 rounds to 1, De La Hoya knows he needs a knock out to win, he puts a lot more pressure after that.

I know that it didnt work great so far, but Urkal and Ouma saw there was no way for them to win, both knew they could not knock the other guy so Ouma just tried to survive, and Urkal played dirty. I think it would be different with DLH-Floyd.

If Floyd knows he's winning 7 to 1 he wouldn't have a problem crusing the rest of the fight. I hope nobody thinks this will be some kind of fight of the year candidate. Floyd will not stand and trade with DLH. Floyd just guarantees a victory.

Open scoring for DLH vs. PBF ( WBC right ?)

What if the WBC decides to utilize the open scoring method for this giant clash between Oscar and Floyd? To my knowledge it is the WBC, afterall, the has implemented this in the past, and Oscar and Floyd are both WBC champions.
