Robert Guerrero Regains Title With TKO Win

Copenhagen, Denmark - Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero won the vacant IBF 126 lb title by stopping Dane Spend Abazi, who didnīt come out for the ninth round. Abazi was floored in the third and fifth rounds and was under pressure in the eighth. A bad cut over the right eye caused by a punch just before the knockdown in the fifth didnīt help him either and after the eighth refereee Mark Nelson, the ringside doctor and Spendīs cornermen decided to stop it. Abazi was a typical Dane. Extremely padded record, and stepped up far too late in his career.

After the disgusting way he lost his title with the cheaterific performance enhancer popper, it's good to see him reunited with his belt.
