sounds good can't wait, from I know about Maddalne is that he's a good heavyweight with pretty good power, should be a good fight, but I also agree that this is anothr eas win fr Holyfield. Glad to also see that Calvin Brock will be on the card as well, hes my favorite heavyweight of today. I hope this is gonna be on free TV.

Holyfield should fight brian minto not maddalone...that guy is a walking punching bag...minto knocked out maddalone twice...and he would easily send holyfield back to retirement

Holyfield needs to realize that if he is going to go after a belt he has to do it as soon as possible. He seems like he is taking his time, he's gonna win but unless he gets an impressive devasting knockout this isnt going to spring board him into a title shot anytime soon. I guess I can see taking an easy one after Oquendo but he doesnt have the time to mess around, he should fight for a belt his next fight or it is going to be too late.

I like Holyfield's opponent selection here. I think that Holyfield realizes that he's not 1-2 fights away from a title shot and needs to stay busy and build his confidence by beating some journeyman fighters(not including Fres). I suspect that if he keeps on winning, then by year end, he might be able to get a shot at the WBA/WBO titles.

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing how Calvin Brock responds in his first fight since his loss to Klitschko and hope he fights someone decent.

I agree with Animal Squabbs. Holyfield needs to get his shot soon...he beat Oquendo (although questionable decision), who was a top 10 ranked heavyweight at the time, someone just give him a title shot..i think we all know holyfield can beat these B and C level fighters no matter how old he is.

I agree that Holyfield is an 'old' 40 and time isn't on his side, but George Foreman proved that age wasn't a factor when he Ko'd Moorer to regain the hw championship at 45 years of age. I think the best approach for Holyfield is to stay busy fighting journeyman fighters and gradually step up his level of competition before contending for a title.

i hate to see boxers like holyfield ruin his record, it just looks worse if he loses, for they really don't count when he loses since he fought ruiz
