The keyword here is 'would.' IMO, the only notable wins Thompson has, is over Dom Guinn, Zuri Lawrence, and Vaughn Bean. These are not bad fighters to have on your resume but, nothing to justify title contention. So having said that, I think that Tony really needs to register an impressive win on Friday to establish himself as one of the top contenders. And please Tony don't give us a repeat of Brock-Ibragimov!!
