Rick is actually friends with Stark. They both live in Staten Island and hung out at the recent golden gloves out there. A victory party has already been planned in New York from what I hear.

IMO Oliver might be the better talent. I've only seem him fight once, that was his last fight that was on MSG channel. They both have a very similar style, but Oliver is a little more clever IMO.

In a certain way I like the fact that Gary is the way he is. Like, for example, fighting in his hometown crowd with a hand picked opponent, a guy in Vernie that normally fights at 115 pounds, and he gets ****y... telling the crowd how he is winning 'some hardware' aka a belt. Now if he was fighting an up and comer and a guy who was his same weight and for a real belt (no offense but the New York title is worth as much as a subway token) I would think that was cool in a way....but fighting little old Torres, a guy who had lost 2 of his previous 4 and was 116 pounds for his previous fight that took place just a few months before he fought Stark is not exactly Ali-Frazier in Manila for the heavyweight title , you know? Now if he had won 11 of 12 rounds against NABF 12 pound champion, the 18-1 Adam Carrera, well, THAT would be impressive
