O'Neil Bell Itching To Defend Belts

It was reported in the Jamaica Observer, that undisputed cruiserweight champion O'Neil Bell is trying hard to get himself back in the ring to defend his remaining titles. Bell's promoter Leon Margules is blaming promoter Don King for Bell's inactivity. [details]

Bell/Mormeck II needs to happen. I think Mormeck could adjust more than Bell could...I could see him stopping Bell in a second fight.

Hell, regardless of who wins it'd be a damn good fight probably.

I think he has to fight Mormeck first. Then the winner has to defend against Haye. That would be an exciting couple of fights. Bell seems to recover quite quickly in the ring and so could be quite a difficult fight for Haye. I doubt Bell has fought many people who hit as hard as Haye though. Haye and Mormeck seem to have stamina issues so one of them would be KTFO if they fought each other.

1st off I dont think any cruiserweight is itching to fight. This division has a ton of potential but nobody has done a thing in the past year. I thought 06 would be a big year for the cruisers & was totally disapointed.

I hear King is tryin for March 17 for Bell vs Mormeck II.

The only decent cruisers I have seen active lately was the webcast for Wlodarczyk vs Cunningham, with Tokarev on the undercard.

There are 5 or 6 realy good fights that could be made in the division in the 1st half of 07 but I wont hold my breath.
