Anytime you knowingly ask for more than the other party is willing to pay you are pricing yourself out.

For example, if I knew that DLH wouldn't fight me for anything less than 90-10, and I demanded 85-15 or no fight, I'd be pricing myself out. The percentages don't matter. Taylor has said 55-45 or no fight and Winky keeps insisting on 50-50 when he is not the one bringing the money to the fight. So, by asking for parity, Winky is pricing himself out of the fight.

Wow, little biased, eh? How can you say Taylor was viewed as the loser when he was the champion and it was a draw? Taylor is the champ. He gets 60%. That's how it's done. Wright is a crybaby *****.

    Its simple.
Winky isnt a big enough draw to deserve 50/50.
For those of you who say that the champ should get the majority, why did Mayorga get less money than DLH when Mayorga was the champ and DLH was the challenger? Because the one who puts more asses in chairs and eyes on televisions is the person who deserves the most money.

In this case, it's Jermain. He just happens to be the champ, but that shouldn't play a role in it. Winky is just trying to price himself out of the fight. Remember what he said after the fight? He said he was not interested in a rematch. I think it's still the case and he's just trying to keep up appearances.

Taylor will probably move up and face the winner of Calzaghe/Manfredo Jr. if Winky doesn't agree to Taylor's terms. That means that Winky will be left fighting whomever is left at Middleweight and he won't even make HALF of what he would taking a 60-40 split against Taylor.

    Winky is an idiot.

    50/50 seems fair to me

None of that other stuff matters because he didnt turn into a big star because of those fights and he's not a big money man. Robbed or not, its the business and unless you have the bigger name then you have to win the fight. He didnt do that so he has to take less. Would you give him 50/50 if you were Taylor? If you would then why? You dont have to. Your the Champ and your the one with the bigger name. You can just fight someone else. Taylor has the upper hand so he deserves more money

True, my bad but he still doesnt deserve the 50/50 and there is no way Taylor will do it or beat waste time thinking about it. Winky is in no position to do this. Its not like Taylor has to fight him or he will make some monster bucks with him like he's Oscar or someone
