    Go ask Senor Sulaiman, he was there. The fact that it was a free show made the estimated numbers, difficult to verify.

    what about ali vs frazier the thrilla in manila? how many watched that like 30 thousand right?

    i hope floyd vs oscar gets to be in the la colisiem they can price the tickets at 15-20 bucks when it nears fight time just to fill up the top.

    thats a good 90 thousand people.

    i know the 70's are considered the golden years for boxing, but ive never heard of that size of crowd, or even a stadium that could seat that many...

    Chavez/Haugen drew 130,000+ at Aztec Stadium in Mexico City.

    back in the 70s they wasnt attendance caps on arenas and stadias so ppl could sell has many tickets that would of been bought
    for instance in a rugby league game in the 70s over 100,000 ppl watched bradford bulls at odsal but now they cant get over 25,000
