That's what I figured. Maybe a little fight in Tiajuanna's bull ring. That's kind of cool.

I would love to see Morales go out with a win...he definitely deserves it...and hopefully he'll give us one more classic battle, with a worthy opponent.

I just hope he doesn't follow in Julio Cesar Chavez shoes, then we might just see 10 goodbye fights in a row!

He wants to go out better than the 3rd round stoppage. I can see that. I'm guessing it'll be against a decent fighter, maybe even a top tenner, just to get a win before he leaves.

    No harm in that.

Morales: one more fight before retiring

Three-division former world champion champion Erik Morales (48-5, 34 KOs) says he plans one more fight before retiring. The future Hall of Famer, who was brutally KO'd last Saturday night by Manny Pacquiao, did not reveal a date, place or opponent for his final fight, but told the San Diego Union-Tribune, "Boxing has given me everything I have. I don't need to box anymore. It won't be difficult to walk away. I'm ready."
