Canelo beats Triple G easy. Yeah, he beats him. He stops him. It don’t go the distance. Well, I have to tell Canelo this. Mayweather said

I think so too. Canelo will hurt GGG and take his punches.

Even rounding up Canelo to get in the ring with GGG is proving to be an advanced task. De La Hoya and the carrot are strictly into delay because they have strictly no confidence. They figure they can out-wait his legs. Where is the honor in that? The squaller abandoned the middleweight title specifically so he would not have to fight the Ruskie. Hoya, the man who gassed out in the big ones, wants to go into the later rounds on this one, making noise in the pres about offers they made which were unacceptable garbage that would have given GGG the highest payday of his career--true--but left him dry on the upside profits, as if the real champ should even acknowledge such an offer and essentially fight for a flat fee with no regard for how much the fight might generate.

If that was the case, then why hasn't he fought him already and just gotten it over with?

More money for Canelo and GBP if he fights Little GGG next year.

Good little excuse, but no. They want Golovkin to get a little older with the hope he'll be easier to beat.

Little GGG is a one trick pony.

Ward kovalev showed that if 2 top level fighters are matched up it will be closer than the hype suggests. Imo golovkin wont destroy him like some people think i think it goes the distance

Ward kovalev also showed if golovkin does clearly win over 12 rounds the judges will very likely see to it that the scores are in canelos favour

I mean no disrespect but any fan - Ward or Kovy - who says the Ward/Kovalev fight was very clear seriously needs to watch the fight again or reevaluate how they score fights. A fighter can't lose the last 6 of the last 7 rounds of a fight and cry robbery afterward.

The fight was not "clear" for either guy. Good fight by two Top PFP fighters. Can't wait for the rematch.

Canelo/GGG should be good, but GGG is the bigger fighter so his power might have an even bigger impact than Kovy's did on Ward. Either way I'll be ordering both of these fights (and I ordered Ward/Kovy 1)
