That was pretty impressive from Smith tbf.

He looked a lot more speedy and solid than ive been seeing recently.

Still might have problems fighting on the back foot or on the move, but when he gets an opponent trapped he is very good

        i concur!
"if only" he got the chance to recover from that right hand, or never got caught with it so early, i wonder how that would play out.

Honestly, I felt, considering it was a British title fight, he should at the very least have gotten the rest of the round. But Smith looked good, then again, I always said Fielding wouldn't be the best test.

I want to see Smith v Groves and Anthony, to gauge where he is at the world level, before there's even a hint of a world title fight.

His power does seem legit though so there's that.

Yeah he has plenty of time to moce through to world titles, for now he should be looking at Euro/fringe world.

We shouldnt forget how tough the Rebrasse fight was for him, and Rebrasse is about Euro/Fringe world level

Smith was impressive. It's a shame it didn't go a few rounds though.

CALLUM SMITH could box on the undercard of Wladimir Klitschko versus Tyson Fury. The new British super-middleweight champion only boxed last Saturday when he destroyed Rocky Fielding inside a round.

“He might box on the Klitschko-Fury card. We’ll see, just trying to tie that up,” promoter Eddie Hearn told Boxing News. “If he boxes November 28, then he can go away in December and have a big fight in the spring.

“It’s three weeks away, it’ll be a decent international fight and some great exposure for him and the chance to keep the momentum.”
