Yeah, a top level British HW scrap is always good. Hopefully it goes some rounds.

Can anyone pro-Dillian Whyte or anti-Anthony Joshua tell me why some questions are gonna get answered about Joshua in this fight that some seem to be of the opinion of?
To me Whyte seems far lesser skilled boxer than Joshua & this whole fight rings of a Canelo vs Kirkland hyped setup that isn't gonna really gonna be competitive to me. Guy has fought mostly very low level opposition. Gots about a 40% opponent win %. Most of his opponents have been on losing streaks going into their fights with Whyte. Watching him fight there is nothing to get excited about outside of him KOing guys. And the thing is he's KOing guys far less effieciently, far less impressively & very far less advanced than Joshua.
And I mean not trying to be ultra-critical of this fight. I actually think this is a great prospect vs prospect type fight & is a good opponent for Joshua to be fighting now, but I just don't see how its very likely this is answering many Joshua questions that haven't been answered based on what I've seen of Whyte. It just seems like a intelligently marketed fight to draw in the most fans to me.

But IMO Whyte would go through AJ's resume undefeated with a decent KO% so this has to be considered a step up.

Dillian Whyte 1 to 10 underdog
Anthony Joshua is a big favorite at 14 to 1
betfair odds has it 20to1 joshua knocks out whyte.
thats like a sure thing.
I expect AJ to win but I'll be having a bit of Whyte at 10/1. The reason Whyte seems to genuinely dislike the hand he's been dealt by the BBBC with his suspension and how Joshua has had it so "easy".
He also believes it's going to be easy to beat someone he has already beaten.
I don't think Joshua has a bad chin but I do wonder if he'll stand dazed, if he gets hit by something big which can often end worse than getting knocked down.

I think the level of hype this is getting is going to backfire since I can't see this being a competitive fight at all.
Its Joshua's first meaningful fight ffs.
I'll most likely go to see it at a pub like I do with all ****e PPV's

Loving the clash of personalities with AJ cool as a cucumber and Dillian bringing that Brixton fire. Theres nothing quite like a heavyweight grudge match to get the juices flowing
Hope Dillian doesnt end like Tony Bellew, all bark and no bite
Bring on December
Whyte's best tactic would be to rough Joshua up early on and get him out of his rythm.Whyte has to be fast as well cause when/if an opportunity arises to get on the inside then he's going to have to capitalize on this moments.
The tactics should be interesting.

One of the things which makes this fight fun is that Joshua has done a bit of work with Jonathon Banks, so maybe Banks has zeroed in on some flaws of AJ's that we havent seen.
Its a tough ask for Whyte because he really isnt on the same level athletically. He really needs to come in with a great gameplan and excecute it perfectly
