    p4p would have to be Fedor. i'm not a fan of his, but the guy is an amazing athlete. he has decent stand up offense and defense, his ground game is superb and his GnP revolutionized MMA. he hasn't lost since 2001. he's on a 20 win streak with just one no contest. the man is a legend.

    other fighters who rank highly with me are Norifumi KID Yamamoto, Hideo Tokoro (not top 10, but highly entertaining and seen as the working class hero), Wanderlei Silva, Mauricio Shogun Rua, Mark Hunt, Mirko Cro Cop Flipovic (i mean the dude is a congressman in Croatia and was SWAT and made a hilarious commercial for razors), Tatsuya Kawajiri and Mamoru.

    Gomi is a special case. his hand speed, solid chin, and accuracy are amazing. Aurelio was the first person that i've seen in recent memory who took Gomi down to the ground. what's even crazier is that Gomi stated that he knew Aurelio would go for an arm triangle (since that's his favorite sub) and was training to defend against it. too bad that didn't happen. i like Gomi for his stand up, but even with his skills in sub wrestling, it's like he can't be a complete package or he focuses too much on one thing. i think that Gomi needs to go back and watch his losses to see what he can do better. he's an exciting fighter standing up, but his ground game at the moment needs a bit more work.

      He is main priority is his family, he truely is a respectable man. He has said that as soon as his MMA career interferrs with his family he will retire, its amazing hes able to balance all of that. If more people knew about Cropcop he would be a role model to their children, hes a successful man.

      I had no idea he was a congressman though.

        Based on the few fights that I've seen of him (youtube has atleast two, I think), and a little of what I have read about him, Edson Drago might very well be a bigtime player in the heavyweight division in the next couple of years if/when he's signed to one of the two major promotions (if he does, it'll probably be Pride)...

        Mean as hell, very aggressive, some obvious top-notch striking skills for MMA (quite powerful with his punches), and as a member of Brazilian Top Team you'd have to think that he's very competant on the ground...or at least will be soon enough because of the great opportunity he has of training with the guys he does.

        A lot of you guys probably already know of him, but for those who don't, he might be a heavyweight to keep an eye on for the near future.

          last i saw of Drago, he won at the K-1 show, beating Ole Laursen. at least that's if i'm remembering correctly. everyone said that he was really impressive. but i'm pretty sure he's fighting at middleweight.

            Nah, Drago has been fighting at heavyweight as of late, as he was listed at 6'1-220 for his last fight in Cage Rage...Not overly big for heavyweighht, but looks like a pretty friggin solid/muscular at the weight he is at (also undefeated at 8-0).

            Here's a clip of his last fight;

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpGuT...=edson%20drago

            The fight before that was supposed to be his big coming out party from what I here, as he literally destroyed what was thought to be the better Brazilian prospect, Helio Dipp, in a matter of about 20 seconds...Drago just completely overwhelmed Dipp, and even landed a few cheap shots after the fight was stopped by the ref.
