No way dude. Get real. Yes , gomi is a fantastic fighter, one of the very best.
But He recently got owned. He just lost vs Marcus Aurelio via Technical Submission (Arm-Triangle choke). He lost 2 or 3 days ago. Obviously, He has a major weakness on the ground vs the cream of the crop of ground fighting specialists. His only other loss via sub came from Penn back in 2003. (via Submission (Rear Naked Choke).

If Gomi (as a HW) would fight vs someone such as Fedor. He'd get subbed in no time!

Isn't Gomi really a fighter at like 140-150 lb's. but he fights at a much higher weight? So you gotta give it to him he is still a fasinating fighter.

No, not in his last fight.His recent loss had nothing to do with weight disadvantage.Marcus Aurelio (his opponent) , weighs about 155 lbs. Gomi weighs the same.

It's just that He was outmatched on the ground.
Gomi is an amazing fighter imo. One of the very best.
But He'll always lose vs guys like Penn or Aurelio if He doesn't quickly fix his weaknesses on the ground.
Gomi is very experienced on the ground too though..But that's not enough.
