As much as i hate the guy, i would have to say Anthony Mundine is A great boxer with no (chin) amatuer career.

Does Castillo, Chaves, Corrales have ameatuer background?

castillo i dont think had any?

both chavez sr and jr had 0 amateur fights.

corrales did have a lenghty am career, he had about 100 or so am fights.

a lot of the mexican fighters dont have amateur careers, if they are breif ones...

Yes Johhny Nelson did have amature fights, but he wasn't the best of amatures.

not sure about castillo and chavez they grew up in mexico so i doubt it
