  • Heavyweight Division.

I am glad to see that finally there will be a new heavyweight champion and he will not be of Russian decent. It was about time that one of the brothers moved the hell out the way. I am not hating on the brothers they took over as heavyweight champions in an era never seen before, that is a lack of American heavyweights so you can not really blame them for their lack of competition. I hope that very soon we will have an American heavyweight champion again.

        Wladimir Klitschko

I can not see any body at the moment beating Wladimir I remember when the klitschko brothers came on the boxing scene there were not very technical fighters. But when they hooked up with Emmanuel Steward he showed them how to box and some defensive skills so they actually have gotten better especially Wladimir his sheer size is difficult to over come ad some skill and you have a difficult task in beating him.

Herbie Hide was considered skillful and possibly the fastest heavyweight since Ali. 'Robotic' Vitali knocked him down brutally and stood over him yelling Ali-Liston style when Hide was rolling on the canvas.

Before you go asking if a I am OK or feeling dizzy read the post I said that I am not hating on the Klitschko brothers. I am a boxing fanatic and do not hate on any fighter all I am saying is that it is time for an American fighter to take back the heavyweight title. If this bothers you so what I have the right to my opinion is this not a boxing forum. By the way you feeling dizzy, or you okay.

Has anything been decided about who will be fighting for Vitali's old WBC belt?

Wlad will rule for some more years, so put your expectations on hold. The HW champion will not be American in the coming years. Deal with it.

None of this is true. Hide was considered a chinny heavyweight who could never cut it at top level and people were fearing for him going into the Vitali fight, even though Vitali was somewhat of an unknown quantity at the time still.

The new champion will be as much of a champion as Vitali was.

And yes, the new WBC champion will probably be from America soon enough.
