I don't recall seeing him fight before last weekend. I was impressed consider his age, record (no stoppages whatsoever in 15 bouts) & that he was up against a very decent domestic operator.
His stoppage of Mouneimne showed a very cool head (or a very good trainer keeping him under control).
Would love to see a bout between he & Ryan Walsh. That's a great fight for the pair of them with the winner being in a good position to crack on.
It feels funny that he's a Commonwealth Champion yet barely out of the novice stages himself. The Mouneimne bout would have been an Area Title fight a few years ago.
Nobody mention Jon Slowey though.
