Honestly don't see what the fuss is with Campbell...
EDIT: His skillset isn't that great either, where are people getting this from? Don't buy into the '3 fight novice' and how good he's looking, he's fought for years as an amateur and I don't fancy him to change his style now.
He could probably reach a good level but he's not a great or special prospect. He was a very good amateur but the professional game is a different beast and I don't see him having it in him.

The current WBO champion punches a lot less hard than Campbell. He's dispatching tough journeymen with ease.
I'm willing to put it on the line and say I think he'll win a world title in the lightweight division at some stage.

He's dispatching of journeymen via accumulation stoppages, these journeymen are not reputable either and he's an Olympic gold medallist...
He should be fighting against the likes of Appleby or Truscott in a couple fights time. Only then will we see a bit of what he's like, how good he potentially could be etc.
Campbell winning a world title doesn't mean much, clever promoting would be the major component behind that. Honestly, you're not going to convince me that Campbell is something great/special and certainly not whilst he's fighting novices.
I think he's been looking very good, albeit against lower rate opposition. He took a few shots yesterday that he shouldn't have, but I think he wanted to get some rounds in.
He should go for a British title at some stage within the next 5-8 fights.
Hard to really tell but the low level he's fighting at he doesn't look impressive to me.

Not true for his first two fights. He's got decent power Campbell. It was evident last night that he was trying to get some rounds in. And yeah you're right, but they also need to make sure he's been brought along at the right pace.
I'm sure they'll try and match him against those kind of guys soon. Assuming Crolla gets through Gethin, I'd like to see Campbell up against him (Gethin) in his early fight next year. Good experienced guy with a winning record and not too big a puncher.
I might not be able to convince you of that, and equally, you're not going to convince me that an Olympic gold medalist, and one of the best amateurs Britain has produced for 20 years is nothing special. Especially just after his 3rd fight.
He's light on his feet, good movement, good punching variety, determination and has a good head on his shoulders. I like what I see so far.
He is looking really promising so far. I look forward to watching him in the future. Apparently he's gonna be fighting close to every month, which is a bit of a stretch, but at age 26 it's probably the right move. In a couple of year's time i see him fighting at the top level. He seems like a good kid.
I believe it's impossible to tell how far young Campbell can go in the fight game. There have been many Olympic medalists who have faded in the pro game and others with limited amateur experience who have gone on to become world champions. Where will Campbell fit in? Only time will tell.
In terms of talent and physical attributes, he is up there with some of the best amateurs I've ever seen, he is 26 though so time is not on his side and he will need to move up if they want him at world level before 30. He has a great height and frame for fighting at lightweight, welterweight and who knows, maybe higher. The only way we will know how good he can be is when he comes in against tougher, harder hitting opponents who test his chin and courage.
So far, it's all smooth sailing, but calm seas do not make good sailors.
