Boxing Monthly did a big feature on Zou and Arum's hopes of cracking China and it was a very decent, well-researched read.

Reading between the lines it seems that Arum is investing in Zou as part of a longer-term strategy to establish a promotional base there and learn how to work/seal deals with the Chinese authorities and media paymasters.

Zou may well be the key that unlocks the door to a treasure trove and apparently when it comes to ******** Macao is already far bigger than Vegas with some mega casinos looking to hold big events to attract the high-rollers.

Zou's certain left it late to turn over as a pro and especially for a little guy and apparently Freddie Roach is having to teach him the basics. I don't hold out much hope for the guy but with so much good business on the line I am guessing Arum and Lebouef will steer him towards some kind of title.

It's a great business move but unfortunately its success rests on Shiming who is going to get brutally destroyed sooner rather than later.

They can manipulate his career any way they want. They can put a guy in there making his debut so he can finally get a KO.
IMO, even if he loses they can still make money off of him. As long as he doesn't lose 5 in a row before he gets big.
He'll win a vacant belt soon enough
