Same ^. Is it £15 on Primetime? They must struggle to get a 4 figure audience.

            Congratulations Ricky Burns.

Gonzalez was a classy boxer but it looked like Burns 'broke' him.

I'm not going to cuss out the Puerto Rican fighter though. I don't know how bad the injury is.

This fight did nothing to make me think Burns has a chance against Broner though.

It also doesn't bode well for a fight with Vazquez who appears to be made of sterner stuff than Chelo.

Before this fight I thought Burns would stand a chance against Broner, but not so much now.

I'm in the same boat. He's far too easy to hit if the opponent stays in control of his gameplan.

Burns was pretty fortunate in that he dragged Gonzalez away from a plan he was executing perfectly. I doubt he'd manage that against a better conditioned opponent. That said, Ricky's conditioning is something else. That's what stopped him from hitting the canvas in the middle rounds.

primetime is a disaster ... burns isn't big enough for ppv ... good way to fight in obscurity

Wow! Ricky was LUCKY last night man!
I was just saying before it started that u never know with these unkown guys when they come ove he was so calm and confidentr with big ****ing records but nobody on them - sometimes they suck and sometimes they are monsters, Yori Boy Campus, Bredis Prescott, Ricardo Torres ect ect!
Chello looked sharp on the pads though and i got a bad feeling in my guts! Never did i expect him to be so calm, poised and skillful though, that dude was elusive! I was saying mid fight "a star is born, we have a new division leader!" He was hard not to like, the crowd pressure didn't effect him. Ricky Burns is a quality operator but he lacks any special effects, he's basic text book. Even then though he's the best in his division. Big, Strong, Durable, Brave, very fit and a not bad puncher himself. It felt like when Ricky ****** up all that punishment after 7 rounds Chello had both punched himself out and had had his heart broken a bit. Still i was SHOCKED when he pulled out, wrist injury or not! Probably wont amount to much after all, champions dont act like that, i know Ricky Burns wouldn't have anyway!

It was McDonnell on Primetime, Burns was on Sky Sports.

I only saw the last 2 rounds of the McDonnell fight on a stream but it looked a cracker from what I saw.
