  • Boxnation commentators/pundits?

The channel overall and the fights they are putting on is great but some of the pundits and commentators need changing I think. Last time I watched John Rawling was comparing Bradley Skeet (a complete non puncher) to Tommy Hearns? Simply because they are both the same height.

This is the same man who said Amir Khan was the best at ''any weight'' after he beat a Portugese journeyman.

Then they bring Spencer Fearon in to commentate and all he says is ''good shot, good shot, ooohhhhh good shot''.

    And Paul Smith?

I love this channel but some of the commentators and pundits make me want to press mute.

The commentary and the pundits can be unprofessional at times but can't fault the boxing.

They should have a set up like they use to on Setanta with someone like Andy Kerr hosting instead of Buncey and him just there as an analyst not a host.

I wish they would/could just use HBO's full coverage when covering US cards. Its a million miles better than listening to the **** of Colonel Bob.

Really enjoyed tonight & it was great to have Tim Witherspoon on there & hearing his thoughts. He was a very good fighter, oozing with knowledge, he seemed a really cool guy and he looked in great nick for 54!
        Was good to see!

Paul Smith and Enzo have been fine imo. Rawling is OK. Didn't think much of Spencer Fearon.

HBO is nothing special. I can live with the Colonel!

I was discussing this with a friend the other day. If I watch a fight on Boxnation or Sky that is also being broadcast on HBO I come on here the next day to get that version for the commentary and for the fact that they stay with the fight between rounds.

i'll always be a HBO fan because those guys broadcast boxing the way it should be done

however boxnation has been a very refreshing change can't fault the passion of guys like Bunce even though their presenting could do with a bit more professionalism but all in all the coverage has been great and they have shown some good fights since it started and long may it continue

p.s. used to hate watching sky because Ian Darke really ****ing annoys me thank god i don't have to put up with that anymore expect when i watch football on espn lol

The way Colonel Bob was **** slurping Floyd through the entire Cotto fight made me want to smash the tv in.

I dont mind Box Nation's team, i can happly listen to Enzo, Rawling, Paul Smith , Bunce ect. Hate it when they use Colonel Bob though.

Can't beat HBO's commentary for me though, the best out of the lot.
