Disappointed with Cleverly title defence?
What you guys make of the choice of opponent? Tommy Karpency's record is pretty shocking to warrant a title defence.
I understand the division isn't one of the best in boxing in terms of its depth, but there are a good handful of fighters that would have made a more appealing contest.
I'm glad he isn't unifying against someone like Hopkins or Cloud, he ain't good enough at the moment. Apparently they chased the Shumenov fight, but I reckon they would have wanted him to come to Wales to unify.
Gutknecht and Sukhotsky would have been good opponents but I reckon they feel they could get a better deal further down the line.

Good luck to him I like him but he's getting slated for it .His opponent is ranked 83 on boxrec .Dmitry Sukhotsky wanted to fight him .He said he was going to go to Cleverlys back yard and fight him .That's a scrap I would like to see but I don't think this ones very competitive tbh , pretty boring .Same as Brook man he needs to step it up as well .
