    Froch Vs Ward

This was it! The time has come two champions getting into the ring to find out who is the baddest fighter on he planet. To give it there all and to leave the ring with know doubt who is number 1!

Well that is what happened Ward come into this fight and fought like you would expect from a world champion with honours, His movement was great, His timing was spot on, His craft was there to see, His strength?-Suprising,And that of a warrior, And all this from a fighter I believe where there is still more to come.

Ward is a deserving champion he has left no question un-answered to who is without doubt number one in the division.. This was easy but a great win.

Froch:Mmmmm I don't know where to start really! Froch has surprised me and a lot of other people over the pass years, Showing that he has the mustard to get in there and mix it up with the best in the division, And come out with a victory time after time when some including myself believed he could not do it..I take my hat off to Froch for all his passed performances you have made a fan out of me..

Now comes the bad bit, Ward exposed Froch last night as one dimensional fighter it was so clear to see in this fight, Froch was unable to adapt in this fight at all, He just continued with he same plan up to round 10-12, When it was clearly evident after 4 rounds that what he was doing wasn't working..To much posing to much threating not enough thought..Yes Ward is Arkward but from a better fighter he was there to be tagged to..Ward moved when he needed to, But I wouldn't say he was running? Froch was schooled I can't see it any other way total shut out, Bar one round..
Froch for me didn't give it his all, *** all this posing **** he should have made this into a tearup there was no other way, With his skill level..It's a shame he left it to the 11-12th round to start wanting it..I don't care what anyone says he could have done more in the early rounds, Leving it all in the ring was his words that didn't happen to last two rounds, Would he of won if he did? possibly not but he would have gave himself more of a chance..I don't even think there would be any point to a rematch as there is and always will one outcome to be fair and thats a Ward win.
Froch was a good champion but Ward is a different class, Can he still mix it with other top fighters? Yes of cors..
And although I shouldn't say in the same thread and not taking anything away from Froch, but I will as I have seen posters talk of Ward being able to get a win over Calzaghe if they were about at the same time? Not a chance Joe would have adapted very early without a shadow and I don't think Ward would have been moving him back either..Would have been a good fight though..

I wouldn't take away the effort Froch put into the fight, it more confirmed Ward as a top class fighter for me.

Ward had a big speed advantage, he so obviously slipped the majority of the big shots Froch wound up.

Ward had a bit more power than Froch gave him credit. Not necessarily a big puncher, but the nature in which some of his shots landed flush meant Froch couldn't walk through him like he thought he could.

Hopefully Ward and Bute is a possibility, and you certainly wouldn't begrudge Froch a homecoming against Kessler. He deserves to back in against great opposition after committing to such a great run of bouts. Besides, the division has such good depth it is quite hard to avoid!

Thought the 2 judges who had it 115-113 was a bit of an injustice to the way Ward fought, but at least the right guy got the verdict!
