going out this weekend people seem to build there birthdays around the best boxing weekends so I miss everything.

I can't wait until I'm 40 and I can boring as sin and never accept an invitation.

They all should be decent fights. Hopefully Groves - Smith turns into a tear-up. Id go with Groves but i definetly expect Smith to fare better than he did in the DeGale fight.

Same with Burns - Katsidis really, im going with a Katsidis win but id imagine Burns will have his moments.

As for the fights across the pond, Angulo - Kirkland is a tough one to predict for me, i fancy Angulo to win though. Also expect a Bute win but i think Johnson makes its very tough for him, like he does in all his fights.

I keep thinking when the day that Katsidis's past wars and losses catch up with him.....I'm not sure if it's this weekend, but it's soon. I wouldn't put money on Burns, but I wouldn't write the lad off.

As for Smith and Groves, I can't see Smith winning either, he'll have his moments I'm sure, but this is the fight where we see if Groves has learnt from his mistakes, aka the Anderson fight.

I hope Johnson turns back the clock and gets the win he deserves....but I doubt it. Butes on the up, and if it's going to a tight decision, which I think it might, Bute will take it. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised seeing Bute "stopping" Johnson in controversial fashion.

Should be a good weekend of boxing nonetheless!

My head says Angulo beats Kirkland, but i've also got a feeling Kirkland will come to box and not brawl. If this happens then we know Angulo can be outboxed. I've also got a sneaky feeling on two underdogs Toney and Burns doing the job. Groves vs Smith is a tough one. Styles make fights and I see Smith's style being tough for Groves but I see Groves winning. Also Bute wins.
