    Boxing legend Mike Tyson set to come to Liverpool’s Devonshire House Hotel to share stories from his career.



    BOXING legend Mike Tyson is coming to Liverpool to share stories from his time in the ring.

    The evening with Mike Tyson will take place at the Devonshire House Hotel in Edge Lane on Saturday, July 17.

    Fans will get the chance to have their photograph with the former boxer, before sitting down for a three-course meal and the talk from Mike.

    Promoter and musician Tony Steele, who is organising the event with Kenny Rainford, says: “I’m a big Mike Tyson fan and I’m involved in boxing in the city. When I saw that Mike Tyson was coming to England I saw the chance to bring him to Liverpool.”

    Id like to go see this, shame none of my friends or family are Boxing fan aswell as me.

    Doing talks in Peterborough aswell i think, not sure where else in the UK he is visiting thought.

    He came to Blackpool not to long ago and I was lucky enough to get a ticker , it was fun, Tony Tucker, Tim Witherspoon and Brian London were there aswell.

    Urge you to go, don't know what you're missing .

    With it being in Liverpool I'm guessing that Earnie Shavers will be there as well don't know who else.

      He came over in March, I seen him at Ellesmere port. Got pics with him, Glen Mccrory and Tony Tucker.

      Tyson is the craziest person I've ever met.

          Talking about Earnie Shavers, id heard he worked on the doors as a kind of doorman / greeter in Yates bar in Liverpool as of a few years ago. Wonder if hes still doing it.

            I was scared stiff! There was a que, I could see him standing there and I was like OHHH ****! All I could say was "Hi Mike"

            Shavers lives on the Wirral. I used to live on his road. I didn't realise who he was until I was 15

                Shavers lives on the Wirral. I used to live on his road. I didn't realise who he was until I was 15


                Mad that mad, bet it was strange finding out a fella who had fought Ali lived on your road !

                  He was sound yeah. He was nuts, saying he wanted to kill people and todays fighters are *******. There was one time his mic went off and he kept talkin about this story for like 5 mins and we were all just laughing our heads off because he was really into it.

                  It's worth paying for the gold tickets because you get a pic with him and a meal. If it's the same thing.

                  Tony Tucker fell off his chair too that was funny as hell
