Audley Harrison

The thing I find frustrating about Harrison is reluctance to take any sort of risk - both in terms of who he is matched with, and in terms of what he does when he gets in the ring.
In his most recent fight against Davis he barely let his hands go until the seventh - he never established the jab, and when it got up close it was Harrison who was looking to grab to stop the action. There are times at which he looks positively afraid to get hit on the chin - there were moments when he looked so concerned to smother Davis and stop him from working that he actually ended up getting caught with shots he wouldn't have taken if he had been boxing, not holding.

Audley has the tools, plus he has composure and patience as well as the self-confidence. I think he's been very unlucky with injuries, he's had injuries to his hands, shoulder, torn his pec muscle, broke fingers etc. The guy has had one fight in 14 months, and most of his injuries came before that. So let's be fair, the guy has had to put up with his fair share of injuries so far. But he's 6ft6 and he's a Southpaw, and I believe that he can cope with ageing due to his size and style, infact he will get better with age. I believe he can challenge for a World title at the end of next year, he's a decent infighter for his size, Lennox Lewis admitted that Audley is much better on the inside than he was but also has ability when fighters come to him.
