How much was the PPV? I was downloaded it and watched it yesterday and was appalled that the broadcast ended so abruptly after the 12th round. And I didn't even pay for it!

It wasn't PPV on Sky but on regular Sky Sports, but the bunch of non experts are crap, I just love HBO, Sentanta was much nicer than Sky when it came to boxing me thinks

Maybe if u were at ringside u might also find it sickening, or at least unpleasant.

To be honest I really hate SKY,it's just unfortunate they have a monopoly over some things. The guys lost it around 2003,they changed ever since that Murdock boy became the CEO (even though he's finally left).I actually cancelled my subscription back then because of that. They started treating boxing with contempt.Setanta were the saviours of boxing because they started showing all the Top Rank fights & most of the other fights. That was when SKY started showing more boxing again as a defensice strategy.Even ITV started showing more boxing. Now that Setanta's gone bust,ITV announced they wont be showing boxing next year and expect Sky to show very little boxing. The little they will show will either be delayed or they will be badly covered.

Not showing ring entrances and post fight interviews is short changing us.Back in the day they would even show fighters arriving at the arena, remember when Floyd was fighting Baldomir and the coverage was great. You would watch the guys hitting the pads and great interviews to get everyone hyped up.Now it's pathetic, they are more willing to show us their pathetic panel talking trash than showing us the goings on at the arena.

Check with football or rugby, they start broadcasting long before the match. They show interviews, guys training and then the match. They even show the teams arriving in their coaches. After the match everyone wants to know what the winners have to say and what the losers have to say. That's what sport is all about,it's an experience.Taking away those aspects makes the sport less enjoyable.

Couldnt dis-agree more, Setanta were Calzaghe nuthuggers to sickening proportions, and they had a scrambled screen throughout the entirity of the Haye v Maccerenelli undercard and fight, no refunds, no sorrys...NOTHING!!

I Laughed when they went bust and dance on their graves.

Sky coverage was exceptionally poor by the standards they set for other sports and how I wish we could get HBO over here in England.

Can't stand their coverage, only McCrory is barely worth listening to, the others are terrible.

                  They're terrible. Really bad coverage.

The punditry team are incredibly boring and even more biased towards home fighters than the other networks. They never really say anything interesting or insightful either - I could do just as good a job saying what they're saying.

The commentry duo are my biggest qualm - Jim Watt in particular. He's just a grumpy old bastard and of no use whatsoever except to put an annoying Scottish accent over the fight you're enjoying. Can't remember the last time I agreed with his scoring of a fight either.

And as you say, the fact that they cut out post fight interviews and such just so we can hear their vapid opinions really sucks some of the atmosphere out of an event.

I wish Sky would just directly broadcast the American coverage.

Barry Mc wasn't on it because he's on ITV, I wish he was, spoke to him at Twickenham.
The panel really are ****, would rather listen to the ITV team anyday. At least it wasn't pay per view. Thank god for streams.

However atleast we got a good amount of the undercard compared to some ppv that have been on.
