i think hes a heavyweight boxer(young prospect), and was ***ish, and there was quite a buzz about him a few years back. he was an undefeated prospect, who used to fight at small areas like bethnal green.

it could have been goldberg or something like that. he may have been of polish ethnicity.

any clues?

Think mike sprott would be a good match for Roman by the end of the year.

sprott, audley harrison, herbie hide
and matt skelton..non of them doing much.

skeltons fought recently but against long

romans already been to america where he has a big ***ish following, he has fought there more than once, the guys you mention there are all ageing, roman is a young prospect.

Please dont slag off a whole scene you know **** all about mate, at least make an effort to either firstly be intersted or secondly find out.

i dont follow the uk hw scene that closely because its embarrasing.
there are better and more interesting divisions imo
who in your opinion is the bright spark among the uk hw's?

i dont see greenberg making any progress while hes fighting
uk domestic fighters.
ive seen greenberg a few times on the bbc and he looks
good but he seems to keep getting put in with opponents
who dont test him.
i think he would knock sprott out and wed know nothing
new.hed get a boring decision over skelton.

audley wouldnt fight a live opponent so that fight wouldnt
happen.hide is basically retired.

so were left with other up and comers.

why bother when america consistently produces better fighters
than the uk and thats been backed up by what danny williams and
audley harrison said once they did some training there.

sparring partners are easier to get hold of and they are
more likely to find a sparring partner who has similar
abilities and physique to thier next opponents

the US scxene stinks as bad as the british at the moment, your digging up old fossils to fight in holy and tyson, Byrd is the only decent american heavy that standsa out at present surely?

im english and i hate tyson more than any other fighter.
i dont watch holyfield because hes spent.

and maybe europeans have some top hw's but there not british
unless ive missed someone.
and if they are so good why is the only uk fighter to of been
up there now the retired lennox lewis who you mentioned in
your last post

also the only uk fighter who has stepped past domestic
level is williams and that aint exactly true as hes only
beat a very very bad looking tyson (as per usual)

fighting top european opponents will be good but not
chinless fighters like sprott or huggers like skelton

name some good uk hws please...

aud may come good, ok there isnt a lot of strength iun depth but we had a heavyweight champ who retired just over a year ago, another heavy going for the title shortly, greenberg is a decent prospect and Aud well if he gets off his arse he may do something and earn a crack at the title, its not as bad as you are making out mate cant think of any other weight division where we had the dominant champ up til a year ago and have another one going forthe real title can you?

its no worse than pre lennox when bruno was our only hope.

The only knock against Roman Greenberg is his size.

He doesn't look like a BIG heavyweight, although he does have good skills and fair power for his size.

Plus he's only young...plenty of developing to do.
