The Germans probably want their fight on at primetime for them, and seeing as AA is a much bigger star in Germany than Froch is here it's not that surprising that they scheduled it this way.

Dirrells not more known than taylor is he? hes nobody, taylors been at the top for ages, he was an olympian, a genuine american world champion, why would they prefer to watch dirrell, whos done nothing, get beaten?

Taylor is more known, but like I said the German TV is a big part of it as well. Kessler-Ward is being done at a time and place to suit American viewers as well, so that's probably part of why AA's promoters got the time of their choosing this weekend.
