don't hate khan, just the hype machine, and like someone said, its embarrassing when non-boxing fans start talking about him like he's our top boxer.
i think the majority just don't like the hype or the way he seems to be believing in his own hype. he gives the ****y interviews without having the wit to make them entertaining. also the fact that he's supposed to be some kind of ambassador for the sport and british asians, but at the same time gets caught acting like a 21 year old rudeboi (e.g the dangerous driving) can't help his popularity.
its just unfortunate that genuine racists have been able to jump onto the hate-bandwagon as it gives them validation to hate on an asian.
