He might be the best boxer of all time if he adds more names to his resume. If he fought and beat chad dawson!!! I would rank him as one of the best of all time because theres no question in my mind that Chad Dawson is a great fighter.

i agree. it would probably be similar to the Calzaghe-Lacy fight. Benn only had a punchers chance and he faded late. Calzaghe feasts on people who only has a punchers chance. you need to be able to out box or out work Calzaghe in order to beat him.

It's a toss up between Calzaghe and Lewis at the moment, but if Calzaghe beats Hopkin it'll be Calzaghe for definite.
        I agree with this post.
        Me three.

Ricky Hatton's record is trashy, he has more than his fair share of Tocker Pudwills in there. If Hatton beats Mayweather I'd say that puts him 3rd behind Lewis and Calzaghe. At the moment Calzaghe is 2nd. If he beats Hopkins that'd put him top.

yes exactly and lets not forget that hatton did not get a lagit title until his 39th fight! calzaghe was his 23rd fight big diference! and hattons been fed ray oliveira, michael stewart and so on! so counter puncher made a valid point! if something calzaghes opponents to date are better than hattons! and calzaghe was and is so far ahead of the rest of the division i is hard to give him competitive matches! heres a hatton calzaghe debate for you!

What about Jimmy Wilde? Won 137 (KO 99) lost only 5.
Heavyweight champion Gene Tunney lauded Jimmy Wilde as "the greatest fighter I ever saw."

Sorry but i disagree it would be nothing like Lacy vs Calzaghe, Benn had good headmovement unlike Lacy and underrated boxing skills i would give Benn a good chance against Calzaghe especially the Benn who fought Gerald McClellan.

you really think the WBO is a legit title, what drugs are you on, not only that Joe the slapper was given an easy fight for a vacant british title against a complete tosser(fix) and he fought for a vacant WBO against a twice beaten Eubank, so it was'nt until he fought Lacy did he win a proper title fare and square.

come off it he beat 6 world champions before lacy! and was all set to face roy ones in 2005 until roy inexpicably pulled out ( on the flipside , glen johnson came in on 3 weeks notice and calzaghe pulled out) see i am unbiased lol! and hopkins doubelling his demands is lagit! and collins vacated to avoid calzaghe! but there are many stories going around simply made up by frank warren to save his own face! and look at the wbo's holders in every divison! id call it lagit!
