  • Sweet Revenge: Brahmaer Stops Veit in 4

Rostock, Germany - Jurgen Brahmer did everything wrong the first time around right, this time hr knocked out fellow German Mario Veit in the fourth to retain the WBO I/C super middleweight title. Brahmer was on top from the start working behind his southpaw jab. Veit was wobbled by that jab in the first and Jurgen seemed to be on his way to neutral corner when he discovered his opponent was still standing. A hard right from Veit in the third shook Brahmer and cut him by the right eye in what was Veitīs only success. Brahmer really went to work after that and shook Veit at the end of the round. Jurgen then jumped on Mario as the fourth round started and floored his opponent. Veit survived but was then knocked out by a combination at 0.47 of the round. He didnīt seem badly hurt but sort of gave up. [details]
