According to his website, FW claims he made a "very generous" offer to Carl Froch to fight Joe, as well as the offers to Kessler and Taylor.

Any idea what this offer was? I'd find it strange for Froch to turn down the offer of a fight unless it included something ridiculous like an option on his next 5 fights or something...

Where has it been quoted that Froch has turned down the offer.
I read it as Warren saying hes not had a response yet.
He probably faxed the offer 5 mins before issue of press statement.
I expect a press release From Hennessy in near future with the Truth.
Iv heard Warren wants a piece of Froch, but Froch does not want to give Warren any options on Future fights.
Wait for Press release first.
Wasnt so long ago when Magees camp were saying Froch didnt want to fight in Belfast and was Hiding. We all know what happened.

its pretty clear that warren just cannot work with other promoters and hates the idea of one of his fighters having any chance whatsoever of losing a fight to someone he can't make money off afterwards.

i bet he trys to get options on every prospective amir khan opponent...

Why doesn't Froch try to become the Mandatory for the WBO, that way it would go to purse bids and Warren cannot demand options. Froch should fight Inkin next as a final eliminator.

The problem is that WBO will probably not call the mandatory, as Calzaghe has given the WBO more promotion then they can ever imagine. Just like Larry Holmes made IBF a proper title in 1983 by fighting for it, instead of the WBC.
