By that point Cus had already died and Rooney was gone and he was well under the sway of Don King. So if he didn't get convicted for **** what do those lost years do for his career?

With the team he had a continued spiral . Unless he hired Rooney again

It think the fight with Holifield would have been better and he still would have lost on account of his disinterest in boxing as it has been documented by his own account, we might have missed out on the bowe Vs Holifield trilogy and he would have ended up in legal trouble in some other way down the line,,, possibly for killing Brad Pitt with one punch,,, and we would have missed out on some great movies like interview with a vampire and legends of that fall 🤣

We get more fun fights. Mike wasn't Mike by the time he went to prison, but he still had enough to give us some fights with Razor Ruddock. I think we get more of those type fights & we get a more fun rivalry & maybe a more competitive one vs Real Deal Holyfield.

Historically idk that anything would have changed all that much. Tyson was a bad mfer for a time right before he got sent away & you can't take that from him, but idk if THAT much changes if he didn't lose time.

He was a beast and cool

I was pissed when Douglass got the long count

I was dealing with a Korean Japanese girl who got pregnant and the kid was mine...

I don’t know if you know how bad Koreans born in Japan are discriminated against

I’m crazy but I know what I’m talking about

Not much I’m afraid. His loss to Douglas was more more about his mental state and not physical. He was in a dark place, with a **** accusation hanging over his head and surrounded by parasites like Don King and other leeches. Even if he was acquitted I don’t know if much changes for him. If he still surrounded himself with yes men and users, he probably loses to another underdog.

                Nothing but excuses.

Mike would lose and was losing because he was not as good as people thought he was. He was a limited fighter stylistically and mentally.

You can make up any scenario you'd like, He would still never beat a truly great fighter like Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe and Foreman because 1-Tyson never beat a great fighter who was still great at the time and 2-Tyson ducked every great fighter of his time in his prime. He only faced Holyfield because he thought he was finished as a fighter and only faced Lewis when he knew he'd get a 20 million dollar paycheck.

He was limited and overrated. The blueprint on how to beat him was always there even before that journeyman bludgeoned him into unconciousness in his prime.

I disagree. He had all the makings of an unstoppable force, but lost his way after Cus died and became his own worst enemy. Boxing takes as much mental and emotional strength as it does physical skill and ability.

You can make an argument that a boxer like Holyfield would beat him regardless because he had his number. We also know that Evander was juiced to the gills. Bowe didn’t want any part of prime Mike, and Lewis didn’t seem all that anxious to get in with him either, especially after Tyson made easy work of Tyrell Biggs, who beat Lewis in Olympics.

He ducked Lewis and Holyfield(before prison) in the 90s, these are known facts. Same with George Foreman. I'll give him a pass for prime Bowe because Tyson was busy doing time for raping a beauty queen during Bowe's short run.

You should really grow out of the Cus crap. Tyson had a limited style and always had a weak mental game. He was never gonna beat Holyfield and Lewis, they had all the goods to beat his one dimensional limited arse.

Bowe was a beast on the inside and more heart than 5 Tyson's combined, he would never lose to Mike. And old Foreman was the absolute ultimate ******nite to the Tyson style, he would have crushed Mike in the 80s if he didn't duck him and there never would have been a Tyson era.
