Wlad put in the performance of his career 18 months after losing to Fury. It's a complete myth that Wlad was past it. Wilder beats any other HW today aside from Fury, and would KO Mike worse than Buster Douglas did.

You do know that any Norton Ali wasn't in his prime right? I always assume prime for prime in fantasy matchups unless otherwise stated. The Liston, Williams or Terrell version of Ali outpoints Fury. I don't think Fury has ever fought someone faster than himself where he needed to be on his front foot.

Wlad wasn't past it because he was able to land big shots on flat footed Joshua who doesn't move his head and has one of the slowest feet of any heavyweight champ ever? He avoided Wilder for that same reason IMO. Manny Stewart Wlad takes Joshua out early. Fact of the matter was, Wlad had been in the game for over 20 years when he lost to AJ and was only a barrage away from stopping him. Who's not past it after that long in the game?

Your quite clearly a fury fanboy and a complete troll, so most of us in this thread would appreciate if you could troll eleswhere. Just becuase he was able to land those punches on Joshuas doesnt mean he wasnt past his physical prime- he was nearly 40. Wilder is nothing but a hypejob and mike would literally send him to the hospital and so would tokyo douglas.

I think Holyfield was further past his prime than Tyson was. Thoughts?
yes likely the case. Holyfield was more past it than Tyson.

Only argument is Tyson was mentally gone from boxing. I agree though everything on paper points to Holyfield, and in all likely hood Holyfield is simply better, and a more determined fighter.

He loves Valuev. In his world Valuev would defeat both men the same night, his giagantism be damned.

Dude you have been hanging around Rick Smith too much... Making ****** assertions with no proof is kind of a silly thing to do. I happen to think the world of fury. He has done some amazing things, like get up after Wilder caught him good... But to use that as a basis to compare to a man who tamed foreman, etc is premature at best.

Klitsko, even if one thinks he was a great fighter, was one dimensional. guys like Norton were talented, had power, had skills to fight you inside and out...Fury has a few years left to make his mark... and is a fantastically talented fighter, but don't get it twisted.

I love his claim that Valuev was told to take it easy on Holyfield and he would automatically get the decision. He offers no sources for that ridiculous claim and refuses to accept Evander was robbed in that fight. Hell, you could argue Ruiz deserved to the beat the big man if you really wanted to.

                      - -Inarguable Liston and Williams esp past prime.

                      See Ali vs Holmes/ Berbick.
