Tyson has always stated that he was afraid before his fights, not about getting hurt but about being humiliated. He was shook before the rematch, terrified that the same thing would happen again. Look at this iconic gif. It's the first time Tyson ever looked visibly intimidated and someone gave him a taste of his own medicine. Evander stared him down.
You would never see him like that again before or after, looking shook and avoiding eye contact.

That's rather usual by Tyson if you ask me. Staring at an opponent has never been his thing, except in rare occasions (the Peter McNeeley farce comes to mind). He often acted just indifferently, looking down or else before getting down to business. Don't believe that gif's hype.

Having said that, it is well known - by Tyson's own admission - that he respected Holyfield more than others, because even when they were younger Evander was not afraid of Mike's rude behavior. Psychologically speaking, the fight was his occasion to reverse sides, but it didn't work.

Wow really? First time I've heard a fan on here say that. Most people believe Tyson did it. So you think it was just rough sex then? I remember hearing about a news story years later in the early 2000s where a woman Tyson had sex with caused v aginal injuries/tears. Not sure if I could find it now. Maybe that's what happened with Washington though, who knows now.

I remember comedian Patrice O Neal telling a story on the radio about a girl claiming **** even though it was consensual because it involved more than one guy in the same night and one of his friends was bragging about it. So the girl claimed **** because she didn't wanna have a bad reputation. One guy went on the run, he and the other guy did some time for it. He later went on to say if a girl THINKS no, it could be considered ****. Crazy stuff man.
