Yeah, i do believe Ali's size advantage was decisive in thise bouts.

When Frazier tried to compensate by adding additional weight he became a sitting duck with no wind... and Ali held down his head anyways. Something Uncle Angelo made sure would go unpenalized ahead of time.

Joe went to where the $ is, but yeah, he'd grab a cruiser title before moving up as would Ali.
LOL, which leg would you suggest Ali hack off the make Cruiserweight!?

Yup. That's the point. He is one of the most over-rated champions in the history of Boxing. He's FAAAAR from being the best of the 60's and 70's, let alone all time, and yet he's called "The Greatest". The greatest at what, I don't know. Coming up short?

McGovern proved himself the best fighter across THREE divisions by the time he was 21. KO'ing Gans, whom some will even rank among the best Lightweights and best Boxers P4P, of all time.

Harada did the same by 26.

These guys did it in the lowest weight classes, no less.

Conn, Sanchez, Ray Leonard - their careers were over by 24, for all intents and purposes.

LaBarba retired just as his career was taking off to attend Stanford. (Do you think Ali could even graduate High School?"

McLarnin retired at 28 - having just handed Ambers a beating worse than Armstrong could ever muster up.

Pep was 25 when his career almost ended as a result of a plane crash.

Before his 21st birthday Loughran had already beaten Greb and drew with Tunney. Greater achievements than Ali would ever claim across his two-decade career.

So yeah, Ali clearly is not like many Boxing greats.

And he clearly BENEFITED more than suffered from the lay-off.

The same cannot be said about Dempsey and Fury.

            Cool story, Granny.

Mathis wouldn't break the top 10 today, so what's the relevance?

But it's a bad look for you.

Point blank, Wilder proved himself a better man than George ever did by first pursuing Fury, and then enduring that beating without breaking.

Foreman could barely handle Lyle, and blew his wad against Ali. Jimmy Young forced him into retirement. So, while we know he'd never have the balls to actually enter the ring with Fury of his own accord, if he somehow found himself in there, he would find himself out before the 7th round.

The evidence shows Foreman lacked Wilder's heart and fortitude.

But again: you don't believe in facts; and you know Boxing better than the best trainer to grace the sport. So who am I to dispute anything you claim?
Ridiculous way to assess greatness. You understand my point, nuff said on my end. Your entitled to your opinion.

That's all you needed to say.

Now, what does it matter when you can say the same applies to Dempsey and Fury?
Not to mention they were never coddled by Uncle Angelo and his machine.

And at least Ali's lost years were beneficial to his career. Can't say that about Dempsey and Fury.
I did not misspeak. Most people would understand the distinction. We have a lifespan and we have a vocation span, is that really a hard concept to understand? I though it was a given... Grandma Moses hit her prime as a painter in her 80's.

I explained to you five times or so, that I was referring specifically to the natural years that Ali gave up. So again, your entitled to your opinion and the last word. We are going on circles now.

He clearly benefitted from the layoff? Man you get more and more ridiculous. Sorry this is a waste of time...Take your opinions and rejoice in them my friend. You and Queenie have both hit the point where even my tolerant nature has kind of had it. Your entitled to your opinions...bless you.
