What the hay is his sis doing at the Cus training camp? Was they also living with Cus like Tyson was?
How do we know sis weren't ******ing Tyson who was ******ed much as a kid, which he still was mentally?
Did Blowhard, knows everything Teddy ever think to consult with his older, wiser mentor forevermore for a better game plan than death and destruction?
Have you ever actual thunk about these things?
Some of the other things you are mentioning make no sense. But I will make this really simple...as a New Yorker who grew up with Mike Tyson's and a few Teddy Atlas' to boot. By the way Teddy's dad was a doc but they were not well to do my friend. There are many middle class doctors in New York.
The problem facing Atlas was getting Tyson to back off. The way that is handled was the way he handled it. Tried and true...You come around my sister again this is what happens. All I am saying is that Atlas did nothing that most running in those circles would not have done.
Cus was not going to get involved in that and it is naive to think he would have. He would have told teddy to handle it himself, I am sure he probably did!
Not glorifying Teddy either, thats just the way things like this were done when I was coming up at least.

"4 stars short of a star" lol.
I think there is something to this & have talked about it before myself. The thing is idk that you can "pretend" youre broke during training camp. I think the level of comfort that comes with this type of wealth is a mental thing not a physical thing so much. So its kinda like you can take the rich guy outta his environment by throwing him in some sh^thole motel, but you cant take him outta his mindset that knows he gots a 18 bedroom home or 9 100k+ cars or just a number in his bank account that is as long as a routing number than the average balance a person would have.
Not to say it cant help or will work for some cats I just mainly think you are fighting a losing battle if you have this sorta mindset. Floyd didnt need to fake poorness to get up for fights. Plenty of others didnt either. Its just another attribute some people got & others dont as I see it. It is what it is & while just like stamina or other attributes you can boost them up with doing certain things you are never going to entirely flip it & now youre a powerhouse at it.

I am sympathetic to Tyson, I don't agree with his conviction so I am being a bit of a hypocrite i guess. I mean I find it hard to believe any girl does not know what it means to go to a guys hotel room.

Loony Teddy has a lot of the same insecurities as Larry Holmes. They can never be magnanimous because of those insecurities that continually shoot themselves in their feet as they do their best blowhard impersonations.
We are still waiting for Teddy's claimed email showing Manny used PEDs...snickers...

Givens was a gold digger for sure...And her mother was in her corner! One of tyson's worse opponents for sure.

My question is do you this for 1 fight since a fighter lost or do you do it every fight??
Some fighters can lose their hunger once they start making a lot of money

That don't excuse **** in the conventional sense, but Missy Desiree had nary a bruise or seminal evidence whereas we know that many more Tyson girl encounters fared much worse.
The difference is the DKing involvement that ultimately gained control over Mike $50mil retirement fund.

And Ive honestly felt AJ hasnt been the same guy since Klitschko. The time I.most noticed it was in the Joey P fight. To me that fight was super weird with AJ calling his own timeouts right when Joey got inside & coulda started doing damage. I do still think he showed heart in the Andy L fwiw, but I tend to think he was never as hurt in a fight as Klitchko had him & he came back from that so him just sorta quitting in a way vs Andy was a lil odd.
I also think there could be some "Im not gonna take as much damage the next time"angle to it all like with any boxer too doe & like you'll see with journeymen all the time from their first few losses where they seem ready to die to win & then later when they got double digit L's they will call it a day or know how to get the ref to call it by certain actions or inaction.
